Welcome to Rugaz Rescue Inc’s Garden of Memories — a personal dog park open to the public by appointment only.  

Our Garden started as a personal project for RRInc’s president - when she began transforming her backyard into a memorial for the ashes of the hospice pups our rescue has cared for over the years…their “Forever Home” to rest. 

The project expanded as she offered this safe spot to Rugaz adoptive pups who lived locally but needed a little room to roam without sharing it with strangers. 

Partnered with SniffSpot - our Garden of Memories has now transformed into a public place for everyone to celebrate the lives of their pups — past, present, and future. It serves as an amazing personal dog park. Simply secure your time slot through SniffSpot and enjoy this private dog park for your pup with no interruptions! 

Our Garden of Memories may be all about the pups, but we know their people are important, too. We offer comfy shady spots with chairs to relax in and WiFi so that you can continue your day at work while your pup enjoys sniff time, playing with toys, or prancing in the pool.

Are you a Virtual Foster Parent to one of our beloved hospice pups? You can also schedule an appointment to come and spend time with them in the Garden!

The Garden continues to evolve each and every day – so please bear with us and pardon our dust as we add on. We encourage you to bring a trinket or tag of your best friend and place it upon our public Tree of Life to keep their memory alive and share it with others.

What’s next for our Garden of Memories?

·        Our current gazebo will be built into a permanent pergola that will have electricity and outlets for a TV monitor for those who want to come and relax or take your Teams meeting while your pup plays.

·        Our private Tree of Life will be painted permanently along the large fence with each leaf on each branch a tag from a RRInc’s hospice pup on the leaves.

·        On the right side fence a public Tree of Life will be painted for you to place your pups’ tags on.

·        On the left side fence will be the wall of sponsors.
